The Accounting department is responsible for recording and reporting the cash flow transactions of the University. This department has some key roles and responsibilities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, and statutory audit and maintaining internal financial controls.

  • Provide high level of guidance to Management on financial issues
  • Implement systems and procedures safeguarding university assets while reducing transaction processing costs
  • Plan, control and monitor financial performance targets assisting in achieving university strategic plans

Collection of Student fees
Management of Accounts payable, Expenses and Accounts Receivable
Preparation and disbursement of University Payroll
Financial administration of Scientific Research Reserve and Faculty/Professional Development Reserve
Accounting for Sponsored projects
Annual budget preparation
Financial Statements showing budget comparisons and variances
Financial reports for Students, Departments and Management
